Team Placement Auditions 2025

We are thrilled to invite everyone to audition for one of our competitive teams for the 2025-2026 season! At Studio 1, there is a team for everyone, and we’ve expanded our program to offer even more dancers the chance to join. Our goal is to provide the best class placements to help each dancer thrive and reach their full potential.

Ages: 4-18 years old. Dancers who turn 5 by January 2026-18 years old and still in High School are eligible to audition.

Audition Dates: May 16-17, 2025 at Studio 1 Dance Center.

Dancers will learn their audition combinations at home via video, giving them time to practice before performing in front of our teaching staff. Upon arrival, dancers will review their combos in person before their audition begins.

Only Studio 1’s Director, select teachers, and two judges will be present in the audition room—no outside observers allowed.

Audition Details

• Audition Fee: $40 per dancer (must be paid before receiving video links)

• Video Release Date: April 30, 2025 (videos sent after payment confirmation)

Audition Schedule – May 16th

Ages are as of the audition date.

4-7 Year Olds

• 3:00-3:45 PM – Combo Review

• 3:45-4:30 PM – Audition

8-10 Year Olds

• 4:30-5:30 PM – Combo Review

• 5:30-7:00 PM – Audition

11-13 Year Olds

• 4:30-5:30 PM – Combo Review

• 5:30-7:00 PM – Audition

13-18 Year Olds

• 7:00-8:00 PM – Combo Review

• 8:00-10:00 PM – Audition

Company Callback Auditions – May 17th

Dancers demonstrating advanced skills will be invited to the Company Callback Audition on May 17th. Invitations will be announced at the end of Friday’s audition. Callback dancers will learn and perform new combos on the same day.

• Company Audition Fee: $150 non-refundable deposit + signed parent permission slip (allows placement consideration at Company level).

• Fee Credit: If placed on a Company team, the deposit applies toward July 2026 tuition. If placed on a Team level, the deposit applies to May 2026 tuition.

• Important: Invitation does NOT guarantee placement on a Company team.

Callback Schedule – May 17th

Rookie/Junior Company

• 8:00-9:00 AM – Ballet Combo

• 9:00-10:00 AM – Jazz Combo

• 10:00-11:30 AM – Audition

Teen/Senior Company

• 12:00-1:00 PM – Ballet Combo

• 1:00-2:00 PM – Jazz Combo

• 2:00-4:00 PM – Audition

Post-Audition Process

• Results Notification: Emails sent one week after auditions.

• Team List Posting: May 23rd at Studio 1.

• Registration Meeting: June 4, 2025 (Mandatory for both dancers & parents). Dancers will be fitted for team gear & register for their classes.

Studio 1 offers elite dance training from beginning to pre-professional levels. We emphasize technique, teamwork, discipline, and personal growth, preparing dancers for success in and beyond the studio.

Mini Team (Ages 5-7)

• 3 hrs/week | $175/month tuition

• 2 competition routines, 2 costumes ($125 each)

• 3 local competitions ($150 each)

• Epic Workshop ($290)

• Recital performances

• Ballet/Jazz/Acro training

Petite Team (Ages 6-9)

• 4+ hrs/week | $195/month tuition

• 3 competition routines, 3 costumes ($125 each)

• 3-4 local competitions ($225 each)

• Epic/LADM Convention ($290)

• Recitals, Stadium of Fire, additional performances

• Ballet/Jazz/Acro training

Elite Team (Ages 8-12)

• 6 hrs/week | $225 /month tuition

• 3 competition routines, 2-3 costumes ($130 each)

• 3 local competitions ($225 each)

• Epic Workshop ($290)

• Recitals, extra performances, Stadium of Fire opportunity

• Ballet/Jazz/Acro training

Premier Team (Ages 12+)

• 7 hrs/week | $260/month tuition

• 3 competition routines

• 3 costumes ($135 each)

• 3 local competitions ($225 each)

• Epic Workshop ($290), LUX In-House Convention ($290)

• Recitals, extra performances, Stadium of Fire opportunity

• Ballet/Jazz/Acro training

Company Levels – Advanced Dancers

Junior Company (Ages 9-12)

• 10 hrs/week | $295/month tuition

• 4+ competition routines, 5-7 costumes ($85-$150 each)

• 4 competitions, 2 conventions, Summer Nationals

• Epic & LUX Conventions, guest choreography, extra performances

• Ballet/Jazz/Lyrical/Tap/Acro training

Teen Company (Ages 11-15)

• 12+ hrs/week | $325/month tuition

• 5-8 competition routines, 5-8 costumes ($85-$150 each)

• 4 competitions, 2 conventions, Summer Nationals

• Epic & LUX Conventions, guest choreography, extra performances

• Ballet/Jazz/Pointe/Lyrical/Acro training

Senior Company (Ages 14+)

• 13+ hrs/week | $325/month tuition

• 5-10 competition routines, 5-8 costumes ($85-$150 each)

• 4 competitions, 2 conventions, Summer Nationals

• Epic & LUX Conventions, guest choreography, extra performances

• Ballet/Jazz/Pointe/Lyrical/Acro training
